Warhawk Wonder Award during the 2025-2026 school year, Mr. Trachsel selected Mr. Flores as the first recipient for the 2026-2027 school year.
In just four short years, Mr. Flores has grown the North Chicago High School marching band program into something our school can proudly call its own. We witness the band's growth, dedication, and talent every Friday night during football season, and the drumline brings that same energy and excitement to our basketball games.
Mr. Flores encourages every student to do their best, knowing that no one is expected to be perfect the first time they pick up an instrument. He instills the belief that practice makes perfect and helps students build confidence through hard work, perseverance, and commitment.
